CourtMix privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026. Responsible for CourtMix: Maximilian Grohmann, Pfaffendorfer Straße 18, 04105 Leipzig, Germany. See the legal notice. Contact: courtmix@kiragroh.cloud.
What stays on your iPhone
Player profiles, selected avatars, private notes, groups and tournament history are stored locally. CourtMix does not require an account or access to your address book. Private profile notes are excluded from live sharing and exported reports. CourtMix does not currently provide its own iCloud synchronization. Device backups may include local app data according to your Apple settings.
Optional live sharing
Only when you start live sharing does CourtMix send the selected tournament to the live service. This includes names or nicknames, player identifiers, selected avatar identifiers, tournament settings, pairings, rounds and results. Guest result suggestions include the submitted name and proposed score. These details are needed to provide the shared tournament and let the host approve results.
Netlify hosts the web service and Supabase stores temporary live tournament data. Anyone who has the live link can view the shared information without an account. Share only information your players agree to share; nicknames can be used. The host access token controls changes and is not included in the guest link.
Expiry and deletion
Live links expire seven days after creation. Ending live sharing closes public access immediately; it does not immediately erase the database record. Expired records and associated suggestions are deleted by the scheduled cleanup. Security rate-limit records use hashed request identifiers and expire after one hour. Providers may separately keep operational logs under their own retention policies.
You can delete local profiles, groups and tournaments in Settings. Deleting a profile preserves previously recorded tournament history. Delete the corresponding tournaments to remove those records too. For requests about shared data, contact us with enough information to identify the relevant tournament; do not send the host access token.
Reports and links
Local PDF and JSON exports are created on your device. If you explicitly choose a 24-hour report link, the PDF is sent to here.now. The report contains the names and results you chose to share, not private profile notes. If you enabled optional cost sharing for that tournament, it also contains the cost summary and per-person share. Anyone with the link can download it until it expires. Expiry does not erase copies already downloaded by recipients. You can instead share a local export using an app of your choice; that service's privacy policy then applies.
This website
This website is hosted on a Hostinger VPS. Your browser sends an IP address and normal technical request information to load the pages, fonts, images and video. We use no analytics, advertising trackers or third-party video embeds. The website sets no tracking cookies and creates no user account. Necessary server processing delivers the website and protects it against abuse.
Technical data and purchases
The hosting providers process IP addresses and technical request information to deliver and secure the service. CourtMix uses rate limiting to prevent abuse. The app does not include advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. We do not sell player data or use tournament data for advertising.
Apple handles App Store transactions and payment details. CourtMix checks purchase entitlements on the device; it does not receive your card or bank details. The current public offer is two free rounds per tournament; full access is planned for a future update.
Purpose, legal bases and your rights
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process information needed to provide the service you request under Article 6(1)(b). Necessary website delivery, security and abuse prevention are based on Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service. Processing participant information for a host-requested group tournament serves that same functionality; hosts should use only information they are entitled to share. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any applicable legal retention obligations.
Local processing provides the tournament organizer you request. Optional sharing is initiated by you and can be stopped. Necessary technical processing helps keep the service secure and available. Information in a support message is used to respond to your request.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and complain to your data protection authority. Contact courtmix@kiragroh.cloud. We cannot retrieve app data that has remained solely on your device.
Service providers
Hosting and report delivery may involve processing outside your country. Read the providers' policies for their locations, safeguards and retention practices: Hostinger, Netlify, Supabase and Apple. Report-link publication is optional and uses here.now; the app asks before publishing.
Updates
We will update this policy when CourtMix's data practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
